Keep

Terms of Use

Last updated: 31 October 2026

1. The app

Keep is a tool that helps you review and remove photos and videos from your iPhone's photo library.

2. Your choices

Keep only suggests items. You decide what to delete, and every deletion is confirmed by iOS and moved to Recently Deleted, where iOS keeps it for about 30 days. Suggestions such as "similar" or "suggested keeper" are automatic and can be wrong, so please check before you confirm. Space figures are estimates and can differ from what iOS reports. If you use iCloud Photos, deleting on your iPhone also deletes the item on your other devices.

3. Backups

Keep your own backup of photos that matter to you. We are not responsible for photos you choose to delete or that iOS removes from Recently Deleted.

4. Purchases

Upgrades are sold through Apple's App Store. A yearly plan renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period and is managed in your Apple ID settings. A one-time purchase does not renew. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Keep in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for intent and gross negligence).

6. Changes

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before material changes take effect.

7. Law

German law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
